Veronika Lišková
Veronika Lišková is a documentary filmmaker and director. She graduated from the Department of Cultural Theory at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, and studied screenwriting and dramaturgy at FAMU. Her feature-length debut, “Daniel’s World”, had its international premiere in the Panorama section at the Berlinale. Her second feature-length film, “The Visitors”, was first presented to audiences at the Locarno Film Festival and subsequently screened at more than forty festivals worldwide (Best Czech Documentary Award at the One World Festival 2023, Special Jury Mention at the Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival 2022, among others). In 2024, her feature-length fiction debut, “A Widow’s Year”, premiered at the Warsaw International Film Festival. Veronika also collaborates with other authors as a dramaturge and creative producer
